A brutally honest truth: KIDS IN CHINA CAN’T SEE THE FIRE AMONG TODAY’S PROFESSIONAL BALLERS.
But in these high school players, we felt a raw, unpolited yet fiercely competitive energy—they represent the very best of Chinese basketball.
Instead of simply urging kids to bring their PIQI (that fiery spirit) onto the court, we celebrated the idea that it’s awesome to play with PIQI and embrace who you truly are.
I’m thrilled to have collaborated with WK as a writer on this project for Nike Side. It’s hands down one of the most fun campaigns I’ve ever had the joy of crafting.
